2017 Nissan Rogue Sport

The brand new 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport debuted recently at the North American International Auto Show. This vehicle is designed to expand the audience for Nissan’s top-selling Rogue crossover when it goes on sale this spring.

Between the two combined models the Rogue line will appeal to a broad audience. Rogue Sport is an extension of the Nissan Rogue lineup. The Rogue Sport is the perfect vehicle for empty nesters, couples without kids, or individuals who just want a sportier cross-over vehicle. This Nissan Rogue Sport is a five-seater that fits in between the Nissan Juke and the Nissan Rogue.

The Nissan Rogue Sport will feature a conventional SUV looks with flared fenders and a slimmer grille and headlights. It will have a 2.3-inch shorter wheelbase and a 12.1-inch shorter overall length than the Nissan Rogue. This will allow the Rogue Sport to maneuver better in city traffic and is an ideal size for tight parking spaces. Other helpful features for city drivers include up to 61.1 cubic feet of cargo space (when the 2nd row seat is folded) and available innovation in the Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System, plush the Around View® Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD).

The Nissan Rogue Sport also offers available Nissan Intelligent Safety Shield technologies including Forward Emergency Braking with Intelligent Cruise Control, Pedestrian Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Forward Emergency Braking.

The Rogue Sport will include a standard 141-horsepower 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG™) system engine and Xtronic transmission. There will be three different grade levels available – choose from S, SV and SL.

The Rogue Sport will provide fun-to-drive performance and affordability to young, urban compact sport utility vehicle buyers. The Nissan Rogue Sport will go on sale beginning in spring 2017. Contact Crown Nissan ofGreenville for more information about this incredible new vehicle.
